COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES
Mary Queen Catholic Church
Thursday May 20th, 2010
Welcome and Introduction: Denise Burse called the
meeting to order at 7:08pm. Margo Hoskins could not attend. Those present
include Denise, Mark M, and Samuel.
Previous Minutes:
The previous minutes were brought to the floor and no corrections were
made. Mark made a motion to approve the
minutes which was seconded by Denise.
The minutes were approved.
Treasury Report: The
troop has $10,646.30 in its account.
The amount in the Scout accounts is not known.
The troop has
made all payments for summer camp for 19 scouts and three adults. The troop bought 72 Troop t-shirts in
children sizes: 20 smalls, 16 mediums, and 36 large. The troop has also paid for two scouts to attend National Youth
Leadership Training (NYLT). The
purchased four tires and wheel covers for the trailer for $600.
There was
discussion of purchasing new tents for the troop. Denise will send Mark model numbers of the tents that were
purchased several years ago.
There was not senior patrol leader report.
The Calendar was
discussed next.
