September 18, 2007
Welcome and introduction: Carla called the meeting to order at 7:10
pm. Those present: Carla, John, Mark T., Karen, Mark M., Randy,
Michelle, David, SPL and ASPL
Previous Minutes: Carla stated no changes to the minutes. John
motioned the minutes approved as written, Mark seconded. Committee
approved the minutes.
Treasury Report: (Given by Carla based on information provided by
Denise) The Troop account shows
$6988.20; in addition, a check of approximately $1034 has been received by
Kathleen for camp overpayment. Karen motioned the treasury report
approved as reported, Mark seconded. Committee approved the report.
SPL Report: SPL stated that the “Troop’s been really good”. Making donuts went well. Work needs to be done to make sure patrol
call-downs are completed so everyone comes prepared. ASPL concurred with the report.
Equipment: (Provided by Carla based on information provided by
Gregg) The box has been moved back into
the garage. Will need to put bigger wheels on it to make it easier to
move around. One tent still out, others in good shape. Unsure where
the axe is, but an adult had talked about taking it to clean the rust off of
it. Mark M. pointed out that the first
aid kit has few supplies and needs to be checked. Discussion ensued regarding who should be responsible for
this. Mark T. volunteered to check and
update the first aid kit, rescuing Gregg from being assigned the responsibility
since he wasn’t there to protest.
Scout
Accounts: David has done a
reconciliation of the scout accounts using the information available. The only item believed missing is the
Memorial Day flag sales, which will be provided by Mark M. David commented that scout accounts are small
