COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES
TIBBITTS' HOME
December 13, 2006


Welcome and Introduction:  Carla called the meeting to order at 7:05 pm.  Those present-Carla, Denise, Dorothea, Gregg, Mark T., John, Karen, and Randy.
Previous Minutes:  Dorothea noted a typing error-"id" instead of "did".  No other changes noted.  Gregg motioned the minutes be approved as corrected, Denise seconded the motion.  Committee approved the minutes.
Treasury Report:  Denise stated the account balance as $5814.47.  She noted $24 in popcorn sales still needed collected.
Denise stated she tried to contact Council this week but was unable to talk to anyone because the Council was upgrading the computers.  Committee decided the fee for Recharter would be the same as last year-$50/Scout and $10/adult-pending any major change in fees from Council.  Denise will start the Recharter process in January.  Randy suggested putting out information of the Recharter January 1.  Carla volunteered to make a form.
Calendar:  No PLC report available.
Discussion arose concerning Enchanted Rock on the calendar for January campout.  It was noted that Friendswood ISD does not have that Monday as a holiday.
Randy stated he has not found out the dates of the Pinewood Derby or Blue & Gold yet.
Fundraising:  John stated the sale of briskets is happening.  Denise handed out sales forms at Committee meeting and at the last Scout meeting.  It was suggested the form be on the Troop website.  It was also suggested an email be sent out to remind the Troop of the fundraiser. Fundraiser ends January 8, 2007.
Adjournment:  The next meeting is scheduled for January 17, 2007 at the Friendswood Library.  The meeting for February is on the 21st at Friendswood Library.  The meeting adjourned at 7:35 pm.
